Dan Kocal Scholarship
The Dan Kocal Scholarship recognizes individuals who exhibit outstanding character and leadership in the community management industry by covering full tuition for any one of CACMs Credentials (noted below).
All Dan Kocal Scholarship applications are accepted throughout the year up until December 1. Applications are then reviewed by CACM’s senior team and one professional who exhibits outstanding character, ethics and leadership in the community management industry is chosen annually. Recipient is required to be available to accept the Dan Kocal Scholarship at their next local Law Seminar and Expo event (either in Northern or Southern CA depending on where they reside).
In 2015, the industry lost one of its most influential leaders: Dan Kocal, CCAM. In memory of Dan and his commitment to professionalizing our industry, CACM has established the Dan Kocal Scholarship, which will offer full tuition for manager members pursuing one of CACMs credentialing programs, including:
the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®), the Community Association Financial Management (CAFM®) certification, a Specialty Certificate & Designation (in one or more of these areas of association management; Portfolio, Large Scale, High Rise, New Development, Commercial & Industrial CID Management and Age Restricted Active Adult Management) or the Master of Community Association Management (MCAM®) certification.
